Hi! I’m Erin.
I’m a writer, editor, and content leader based in the Hudson Valley.
I cut my teeth as an editor working at a scrappy independent magazine just before the economy went bust, publishers shuttered, and print jobs dried up. Like many young journalists of the era, I pivoted to digital. I scored an entry-level editor role at an emerging health website and got a front-row seat to the evolving digital media ecosystem.
Over the last 15+ years, I’ve honed my craft as a digital content and editorial strategist, leading content for the #1 health information website in the U.S., garnering six-figure sponsorships for original editorial programs, and managing high-performing teams. As a content strategy consultant, I work with pharma, healthcare, and DTC companies to leverage content as a tool for organic growth and help brands synthesize their voice, tone, and messaging to build reach and engage audiences.
I’m deeply interested in healthcare, mental health, parenting, and maternal health, and how each intersects with the diverse elements of identity and lived experience. Throughout my career, I’ve championed initiatives that bring more of these stories to light to disrupt harmful narratives in healthcare and spark meaningful conversations.
My insights have been featured in Salon, Business Insider, and Authority Magazine, and at industry events led by premier publications like Ad Age, Advertising Week, and Digiday.
Born and raised in the Rust Belt Midwest, I made my way to the Bay Area just in time for my Saturn return. After 11 years in beautiful Oakland, California, I traded the Sierras for the Catskills, where I live with my husband and young daughter. Most days you’ll find me immersed in a podcast, chasing after my spirited toddler (send help), or exploring sections of the Empire State Trail.
